Human Resources and Office Coordinator

Part time - 25 hours a week

Affinity apps are a multiple-award-winning creative suite of professional applications, setting the industry standard in the world of design. Due to incredible success, we’re now recruiting an HR and Office Coordinator to help deliver support across the business as we continue to grow.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to join the Human Resources team here at Serif. The ideal candidate will contribute to supporting the HR function by providing advice and support to all line managers across the business on company policies and procedures. As well as that you will be responsible for all the administrative activities to contribute to the smooth running of the office and improving day-to-day operations.


  • Provide HR advice and support on a range of HR issues
  • Time and attendance monitoring
  • HR & Payroll Administration
  • Support the recruitment process to ensure Serif successfully attracts high quality candidates
  • Provide assistance with HR tasks and projects as and when required
  • Support in sourcing and arranging company benefits
  • Office Management and administration support
  • Reception duties as required
  • Provide health and safety administration and support and enforce company policies, particularly the company’s Health & Safety Policy


  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Ideally 18 months experience in an office /HR based role
  • HR administration experience preferred
  • Previous experience of recruitment would be advantageous but not essential
  • Competent in Word and Excel and experience of HR systems preferred
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism (Essential)
  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Excellent communication skills and credibility to deal with people at all levels within the business
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Efficient and reliable
  • Team player
