IT Support Engineer

We are recruiting for an outstanding IT Support Engineer who can contribute to the Company’s future by providing a highly efficient Support Service. You will be responsible for providing 1st line helpdesk support across the business escalating issues to the senior IT team where necessary. Assistance with upgrades, systems implementation and maintenance will also be part of this varied and skilled role, plus an opportunity to be involved with projects to develop new technological platforms for IT services.


  • To provide helpdesk support via email, telephone and in person
  • Assist the senior IT team with project work
  • Undertake other IT related duties in line with skills


Knowledge of the following would be advantageous:

  • Microsoft Windows Vista and later
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and later
  • Apple OS X 10.6 and later
  • Microsoft Office
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • Hardware maintenance of PC, Laptop, Mac, MacBook, etc.
  • TCP/IP networking


  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Motivated and keen to learn
  • Preferably 12 months experience in either a technical support or similar 1st line helpdesk role
