Systems Engineer

As Affinity grows then so do our websites and software systems. As a Systems Engineer you will be instrumental in this growth and will play a key role in the development of new APIs, serverless applications and websites to support the award-winning Affinity software.

Responsibilities

  • Development and improvement of APIs, websites, serverless applications and tooling to support the Affinity product range
  • Work as part of a busy team in a dynamic and highly creative environment
  • Work with cloud-based infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) and products to solve problems

Requirements

  • Proven experience of developing software using C# in either .Net Core or .Net Framework
  • Experience of working as part of a development team in a commercial setting
  • Ability to apply SOLID software design principles and write clean code that will stand up to changing requirements and future improvements
  • Knowledge of unit testing and proven experience in putting this into practice
  • Proven ability to solve problems and provide robust technical solutions
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under tight project deadlines
  • Experience of using Docker would be beneficial but is not essential
