Paint brush doesn't always draw when moving slow

Recommended Posts

I've searched, but can only find a similar problem here with the AD Vector Brush tool: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/13201-brush-problem-using-tablet/

While I don't have this problem with the Vector Brush Tool in AD, I do have it with the paint brush tool. While using the touchscreen with my finger or the pen that came with my Surface Pro 4, if I move slowly, the brush doesn't paint continuously, leaving behind occasional dots/circles (single spots of whatever brush I'm using). This happens with all pen pressures. I think it is a similar problem as what the linked post had, where occasionally a single pen point would go down making a jagged curve instead of a smooth curve. This problem does not occur in any of the software that came with the Surface Pro 4. I can draw as slowly as I like in other programs and it draws continuously. I apologize if this is a known problem that has been posted before.

I'm using a Surface Pro 4, i7 processor, 8GB RAM.

Thanks, and while I've noticed a few other bugs, I'm still trying to reproduce them regularly before I post about them here. So far, I really like this software and am looking forward to future releases.

Since this problem still does not seem to be fixed, I'd like to recall this. For now the Surface Pro 4 Pen neither works in v1.5.1.54 or in Beta v1.5.2.63 completely correct.

To specifiy the problem I captured and uploaded this special bug to YouTube: https://youtu.be/FvSCPxVGlu0

I would be really happy if this could be fixed because it makes it much harder and displeasing to draw.
