There are still bugs in the in 1.5.0.36. I purchased the app, but waiting for updates.

I hope that updates are included with the purchase.

Yes, all fixes and feature updates for 1.x are included in your purchase.

Hi osirisandloki

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

As far as i know we are still offering a discount (39,99) for limited time. The regular price is 49.99.

did we get an email? as i did not seem to get one :( if you could tell me how to take advantage of the offer that would be great as i really love some of the features with affinity and would love to still use it :)

Hi Osirisandloki,

$39.99 is the correct price in USD, $62.99 is the correct discounted price in AUD. This is because this is the rate that Apple sells the products for on the Mac App Store it is not something we have control over. The pricing is the same for the Windows range as it is for the Mac range as it wouldn't be fair for one operating system to be cheaper than the other.

my Designer beta came up as expired. before purchase i'd however like to know if the requirement to enable aero on win 7 has now been lifted? will the program start up again in classic mode?

i'd check with a trial, but.... ;)

The requirement for Aero or rather DWM composition is still required to receive support from us. You can run the application with --no-dwm-warning but you may experience issues due to Windows 7 reverting back to an old legacy display driver.

thanks Tony! great to hear. does this require to edit the application shortcut to add these parameters? and will it be a policy we can expect for Photo as well?

edit: glad to see it works with the Photo beta right now, too. will use responsibly. :)
