dsb62
Hi, I'm new here. I just downloaded the trial version of Affinity designer for Windows. Immediately Winrar popped up, so i unzipped the file, but there seems to be no associated app to open the file. Nor is there a file extension, that i can see. So my simple question is how do I open it to install it. I want to try this out and see how it compares to paintshop Pro X9 and Photoshop
Staff TonyB Posted November 20, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 20, 2016 We don't have a trial of Affinity Designer for Windows at the moment. My guess is you downloaded the Mac version of the trial. The Windows trial should be available in a few weeks. CsArt
Staff Patrick Connor Posted November 20, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 20, 2016 We have a slightly different browser view of the Designer webpage depending on your OS and browser. Dsb62, please can you share what OS and browser you use and tell me if the trial link on our site was a button or a text link and whether it states trial for mac or not? J. Grant
Patrick, I'm not the original poster, but I can tell you this: 1. My browser is Firefox, latest version 2. My system is Windows 10 3. The page linked to for the trial does not show whether it is Mac or Windows version. It downloads the dmg Mac version.

Ok, could be clearer, but it does say "Looking for the Windows version?" near it, yes?
