Effects layer panel behaviour and reseting back to defaults

Recommended Posts

This more of a UI design issue than a bug, but it definitely bugs me. When a new effect is selected, all previously applied effects are automatically expanded. This means if the new effect is listed below the previously applied effects, like Colour Overlay in my screenshot, after selecting it, you then have to scroll down to find it. Grrr.

Also, a question/request is there a quick way to reset back to an effects default settings? For example like on the 3D effect, where there are about 17 different options.

Thanks for moving post to request forum.

My rational for a reset button would be to make it less inhibiting when learning and experimenting with the options, knowing you can at least quickly return to a known (safe) default starting point and not mess things up too badly.
