poulerik
Hi, I have an Artboard Facebook Group Picture 851x315px. When I export this the format is changed to 852x315px - at this size Facebook compress the picture in a really poor quality. It very important that Artboard Size and Export Size are the exactly same size. Can you fix that? Regards, Poul Erik Rasmussen
Staff MEB Posted February 21, 2017 Staff Share Posted February 21, 2017 Hi Poul Erik, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Can you please check if the artboard coordinates are integer values? You can do so selecting it and checking the coordinates in the Transform panel. Before doing this go to Affinity Preferences, User Interface, Decimal Places for Unit Types and set the Pixels value to 6. Fix the coordinates if needed. It should then export correctly. To prevent this from happening make sure you have Force Pixel Alignment checked in the Snapping Manager (menu View ▸ Snapping Manager...) from the beginning. If it still doesn't export correctly can you please upload the file using this link so i can check it out? Thanks. Just check X and Y artboard coordinates on "Transform" panel: if you have for example: X: 420,6pt, Y: 60,2pt just change it to the full value for example: X: 420pt, Y: 60pt And then export will be without bug of size. PS For me this is just a bug of app, I do not see the use-values of fractional artboard coordinates - this is just problems.
