Lojza
I'm not sure whether this a feature or bug, but is it somehow possible NOT to automatically release the elements from an artboard, when they are being nudged around (with keyboard arrows) off the artboard borders? Staff Chris B Posted March 6, 2017 Staff Share Posted March 6, 2017 Hey Lojza, Am I correct in thinking you want an object to stop at the edge of an artboard when using the cursor keys? Similar to when you drag an object to the edge with Snapping enabled? It isn't possible at the moment so you could always put in a feature request. Lojza
Actually, I'd like the element to stay contained within the art board, but beyond the visible area - i.e. the same behaviour as in case of shapes that contain other shapes / texts etc. When for example an art text is being nudged within a rectangle, it gets correctly clipped by rectangle shape and even if it is completely "outside" its boundaries, it still stays contained in it (in the layers panel). I would expect the same behaviour also from art boards. But thank you, I'll post a feature request :) Chris B 1 UX/UI designer, IT analyst & consultant, Business Architect at Cool Ticket (www.coolticket.co).
