Gear maker Posted March 5, 2017 Share Posted March 5, 2017 I was drawing a watch and I figured I'd use symbols for the minute marks. I drew the first at 12:00 and then used it to create a symbol. Then I used cmd J to reproduce the other 59 minutes. I then clicked on the Sync in the symbol panel and deleted the instances of the symbol where an hour symbol was needed. After deleting the 12 suddenly the symbol picture from the symbol panel disappeared and each symbol layer lost it's child. I tried Undoing several times and got back the minute marks I had deleted but never could get back the rest of the minute marks. What happened?
