rubs
I read several posts about this subjects but I didn't find a concrete answer, so I'll ask you guys: Has anybody ever come up with a sure-fire way to copy all settings between AD and AD beta in Windows? That woould include (but not be limited to): Preferences Keyboard shortcuts Assets Brushes etc. Thanks,
Alfred
The application data for AD beta can be found at %AppData%\Affinity\Designer\1.0 (Beta) and the application data for the retail version can be found at %AppData%\Affinity\Designer\1.0. The 'user' subfolder in each case contains *.propcol files for things like assets, brushes and macros. rubs
Thanks Alfred, this was helpful! All my assets, styles and brushes are in place now. It would be great to know exactly what other files to copy so other settings (like toolbar customizations) are duplicated. I tried copying everything but it didn't work for me. rubs
The Workspaces subfolder is quite useful too. The batch file below may be useful in the future: @echo off set src="%AppData%\Affinity\Designer\1.0" set tgt="%AppData%\Affinity\Designer\1.0 (Beta)" copy %src%\user %tgt%\user copy %src%\Workspaces %tgt%\Workspaces If anyone knows of more useful files, please post them here so I'll update the batch above.
