retrograde
Nice sense of atmosphere and colouring in this here mashup Sharkey. I especially like the smudgy clouds top left. Sharkey
Nice sense of atmosphere and colouring in this here mashup Sharkey. I especially like the smudgy clouds top left. The result of HDR of so many images of a moving subject. The evening was damned cold and windy (Caithness spring) and I was really fed up when I got home to see what a mess I had made of the shoot. This was a kind of reaction to that fed-up-ness. Glad you like it. Regards. retrograde
It's a very nice mess. It looks "otherworldly". Oval
Yes, very nice and thanks for the emotional “painting” and the little story behind it. Where in Caithness and what is the title? Perhaps “Blue sticky fingers from …”? A flying saucer?

Oval
Wow, almost the most northerly point.
Sharkey
Wow, almost the most northerly point. Dunnet Head is the most northerly point. The John O Groats thing is the most northern occupied place. Still not too accurate as Dunnet Head lighthouse has one or two cottages attached to it that are occupied. Take your pick. My wife and I stay in Dunnet village at the eastern end of Dunnet bay. Quote MacPro (late 2013), 24Gb Ram, D300GPU, Eizo 24",1TB Samsung 850 Archive, 2x2Tb Time Machine,X-t2 plus 50-140mm & 18-55mm.
