Guest
Hello, I am under W10 and I noticed some problems with this version: - On my 15 "screen the side toolbar is too long and is placed between the ruler and the work area instead of being outside. - Curve stabilizer: with the brush (window or rope mode) the cursor disappears if it is dragged out of the working area. It remains visible only in the green zones (please see my screenshot). On the other hand the stabilizer works correctly in both modes with the pencil. - The "Ctrl + Y" shortcut is no longer assigned to the "Redo" action, but alternately removes and restores the colors of the selected objects. The "Redo" function returned to "Ctrl + Shift + Z" which was replaced with "Ctrl + Y" in a previous version. - The alignment by key elements (first / last) does not work, either vertically or horizontally, The objects line up in the center. Chris_K
Hi reglico - On my 15 "screen the side toolbar is too long and is placed between the ruler and the work area instead of being outside. The toolbar has just become un docked you can go to View > Dock Tools to set it back or if you with to keep them undocked you can go to View Customise Tools to change the number of colums - Curve stabilizer: with the brush (window or rope mode) the cursor disappears if it is dragged out of the working area. It remains visible only in the green zones (please see my screenshot). On the other hand the stabilizer works correctly in both modes with the pencil. This is a known issue with the stabiliser option causing the cursor to go behind the UI - The "Ctrl + Y" shortcut is no longer assigned to the "Redo" action, but alternately removes and restores the colors of the selected objects. The "Redo" function returned to "Ctrl + Shift + Z" which was replaced with "Ctrl + Y" in a previous version. For me with he default shortcuts both ctrl+Y and ctrl+shift+z preform the redo function - The alignment by key elements (first / last) does not work, either vertically or horizontally, The objects line up in the centre Can you elaborate on this? Objects seem to align to the left or right edge of the first or last selected depending on the combination chosen. Can you provide any screenshots of what you are seeing? Thanks . Hi Chris_K, Thank you for your reply. Toolbar: problem solved, thank you. "Ctrl + Y": In version 1.5.3.69, "Ctrl + Z" cancels an action and "Ctrl + Y" redo it. Alignment: In my screenshot I have five shapes that I want to align horizontally on the red. I first selected the red shape then the other four to do the alignment and I got the result visible at the bottom of the sheet. I then selected the shapes ending in red and the result was the same. I tried all the combinations and the alignment is always the same whatever the order of selection of the shapes. I hope I have been clearer, thanks. Guest
Hi dutchshader, Thank you very much for the information, I had not seen the two options added in the drop-down menu, I was trying to do the alignment by the buttons on the context toolbar. Cheers
