The Glyph-Panel in white GUI have no black letters

In white GUI the letters of the Glyph-Panel are only in white color and  so not really visible :-)

This annoying "feature" has already been reported. It also affects the Typography panel. :(

With the glyph browser open if you switch to Dark Ui and then back to Light Ui it should give you darker characters until the issue is property sorted

That only works for the Glyph Browser, not the Typography panel. :(
