This is a brand-new (free!) product that gives you advanced photo editing, graphic design, and page layout tools under one roof. What happens to my Affinity Store add-ons with Canva sign-in?
Your Affinity add-ons remain yours. Your existing purchases from the Serif Affinity store can be linked to your Canva account for easy access.
Will I be able to open and edit the files I made in Affinity V1 and V2 in the new Affinity app?
Absolutely! The new desktop version of Affinity can open all files created in Affinity V2 or V1 apps.
Can I open files created in the new Affinity in Affinity V1 or V2?
While you can open and edit Affinity V1 and V2 files in the newer app, you cannot open or edit new .af files in V1 or V2.
What if I prefer to use the Affinity V2 suite? Will it get updates?
That’s totally fine. Your Affinity V2 license (via Serif) remains valid and Serif will continue to keep activation servers online. But please note that these apps won’t receive future updates.

How can I re-download my previous purchases of Affinity?
You can re-download previous Affinity purchases by signing-in to your account via the Account page. Please note that previous iterations of Affinity won’t receive future updates, so we recommend downloading the new Affinity, which is free.
