Affinity Beta Software Program
Access pre-release versions of Affinity and share your feedback with us.
Help make the next generation of Affinity the best yet! By taking part in our beta program, you can test out the latest in-development builds of the apps and let us know what you think.
Join the beta program2.6 beta available now!
Version 2.6 of the Affinity suite is now in beta. If you would like to try the latest features and fixes available in this version, please join our beta program.
If you’re already a member of the program, you can download the 2.6 beta versions now from your account (alternatively, if you still have the previous beta versions installed, you can run those up and you will be prompted to update).
Who can participate?
Our beta program is available to anyone who owns V2 of our apps. Please note, even though you’ll be offered downloads of the full Affinity suite by enrolling, you will only be able to activate the apps you have previously purchased. For example, to use the beta build of Affinity Photo 2 for macOS, you must have previously purchased a licence for Affinity Photo 2 for macOS (or the Universal Licence of course!).
Are the beta versions installed as separate apps?
Yes, the beta versions of Affinity apps are installed alongside the current retail versions (and require the current retail versions to have been purchased as noted above). This means you can easily switch between using the beta version and the retail version whenever you wish.
Can I use the beta versions for production work?
The Affinity Beta Software Program lets users try out pre-release software. The feedback you provide on quality and usability helps us identify issues, fix them and make Affinity apps even better. However, since the beta software has not yet been commercially released, it may contain errors, have stability issues and generally may not function as well as our retail versions. For this reason, we would not advise using the beta versions for important production work. Please also consider that documents saved in the beta versions may not be backward compatible with the currently released version.
How do I give feedback?
We have a dedicated forum for you to post feedback, report issues and ask any other questions about the beta program.
