New Affinity User, here. I had formal training in school for Adobe products. As a "hobby" user, however, paying the subscription just to use Photoshop for occasional projects was becoming a bit difficult for this retiree. I was happy to discover Affinity and splurged on the Universal License. No more monthly payments! As for using the applications, I have so far, found it's features, etc... to resemble those of the Adobe apps. and fairly easy to navigate, as well. Though I am still learning, I feel that I will continue to enjoy using the applications in the Affinity Suite for years to come!

Me encanta, primeramente, la interfaz limpia y fácil de comprender para el usuario. Las herramientas son bastantes, suficientes para realizar cualquier trabajo de diseño gráfico, publicaciones y edición. Me gustaría que integren lo más pronto posible la IA y una mayor conexión con Canva. Me gusta mucho también que hay un "asistente" que te da algunos consejos de repente. Eso es muy valioso para los usuarios que somos nuevos y estamos aprendiendo a utilizar cada herramienta. Nunca se me ha crasheado o buggeado, lo cual parece ser muy bueno. En general estoy muy contento con mi compra y estaré muy emocionado por sus nuevas actualizaciones. Seré un cliente por varios años muy seguramente :)

I had to leave Adobe behind after a lifetime of using it as a professional designer and illustrator. I am semi-retired and still take on a few jobs here and there, but I was not able to afford the way too costly monthly Adobe subscription on the Cloud. When it was time to upgrade my computer's operating system, I could no longer use the Adobe software that was installed on my Mac. All of the work that I've done for all of my clients over the years was now unopenable... corrupted. I had a festival Program I do annually and the deadline was coming up. What was I to do? I researched and found Affinity. Took a chance and made the purchase, and yes, I was able to learn enough about how to use Affinity in a few days to complete the assignment on time. Affinity is a bit clunky and less elegant to work with than Adobe products, but it does the job. I do wish I knew how to enlarge the font size more in its tools and windows. I have senior eyesight now and I find them hard to see and read. But in general, Affinity saved the day for me and I am so relieved and grateful. Thank you.

Excellent software as a PS alternative. Already recommended to some of my content creator friends. Best purchase that I never felt sorry about it.

Smoothest Software Purchase Ever! Buying from Affinity was super straightforward - no hidden fees or complicated plans to figure out. Just picked the apps I wanted, paid once, and that was it! The download was quick, and installation was a breeze. The best part? No subscription traps or yearly renewals to worry about. You own the software outright, and they even give you free updates until the next major version. Got all three apps (Designer, Photo, and Publisher) for less than what I'd pay for just a few months of Adobe! If you're on the fence about buying, just do it - finally a company that respects their customers enough to keep things simple and honest! 💯

It's really good. I was looking for an alternative to the subscription based model, and so far I am not disappointed by Affinity. Like anytime changing software, it takes bit of extra time to find functions here and there and what is possible and what is not. But for my usage, I am happy with Affinity solutions.

It was a great surprise to find affinity as a tool for my work. As a designer that only create materials for my business, it gives me the freedom to create almost same level I could do if others apps (I still learning and finding my rhythm), but I am happy how easy it is to achieve good results so fast, and happy that the programs are always up to date and available with a similar interface for iPad.

I am pleased to interact with you. Firstly, I am a long term, infrequent user of Corel Draw. The annual C/Draw cost is excessive in my circumstance. Most of my usage relates to product newsletters, product instructions and labels, product adverts of all shapes and sizes and pictures plus txt for my mini websites. I am very happy with work flow in C/Draw. Specify a size, create a background layer, an image layer (generally a product picture), create one or more TXT layers, horizontal, vertical and shaped TXT. I really like the way C/draw handle layers, (view/lock/hide/print) and supports grouping, I often need a reference layer to design a graphic for a switch button.etc. Size in mm for print/pdf or pixels for web. Open and update when required. It took me a while to be proficient with C/Draw and it will be a while to be proficient with Affinity. I have produced a couple of items but was forced Back to CorelDraw to meet dead lines. On the plus side I found Affinity programs not too challenging to come to grips with and shall return soon to create a number of web image adverts. So I have simple needs in relation to the total capability of C/draw and Affinity. At this time C/Draw remains easier for me.
